Josephine Green Brown
Services for Josephine Green Brown, of Ruth, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 30, at Topisaw Baptist Church in Ruth with burial inFirst Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello. Williams Mortuary isin charge of arrangements.
Visitation is today from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour from 7 until 8.
Mrs. Brown, 80, died Dec. 23, 2006, in Houston, Texas. She wasborn in Monticello on July 23, 1926, to Ed Green and LucilleGreen.
She was a retired dairy farmer. She was a member of TopisawBaptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, LouisGreen, Carey Green and Shelton Green; and her sisters, LubertaParkman and Edna Mae Brown.
Survivors are her daughter, Shelia Brown George, of Houston,Texas; her son-in-law, Brian George Sr., of Houston; her grandsons,Brian George Jr., of Denver, Colo., Maurice George, of Chicago,Ill., and Bradley George, of Houston; her granddaughters, JoyGeorge, of Atlanta, Ga., and Ashley George, of Houston; and manynieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and otherrelatives.

Services for Kathy Marie Sanders Humphrey, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial inOld Macedonia Cemetery in Loyd Star.
Visitation is Saturday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour on Sunday from 1 until 2 p.m.
Mrs. Humphrey, 48, died Dec. 24, 2006, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born on Oct. 8, 1958, to Alex “Tango”Sanders and Sallie Davis Sanders.
She was disabled.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, JohnEdward Sanders.
Survivors are her husband, Larry Darnell Humphrey, ofBrookhaven; her sons, Calvin Orlandos Sanders, Alvin OrlandosSanders, Paris Sanders, James Alton Sanders and Justin TravanSanders, all of Brookhaven; her daughters, Candice Alexis Sandersand Danielle Sanders, both of Brookhaven; her brother, Alex SandersJr., and wife Epsie Sanders, of Brookhaven; her sisters, Bertha MaeTanner and husband George Tanner, Mary Louise Nelson, and AnneMarie Dixon and husband Derek Dixon, all of Brookhaven; herstepsister, Annie Sanders and husband Tommie Sanders, ofBrookhaven.
