Services for Oliver L. Beasley, of Wesson, are 10 a.m. Monday,Feb. 5, at Red Star Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints in Brookhaven with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 7:30 p.m. at BrookhavenFuneral Home on Jackson Street, and on Monday from 9 a.m. until thetime of the service at the church.

Mr. Beasley, 77, died Feb. 3, 2007, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born on March 21, 1929, to EarlBeasley and Thelma Bailey Beasley Kirkland.

He was a retired welder with St. Regis Paper Co. He was aveteran of World War II, Airborne. He was a member of the Veteransof Foreign Wars. He was a member of Red Star Ward of the Church ofJesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Marie Beasley, of Wesson; his daughters,Sydna Lopez, of Sandy, Utah, and Marsha Edwards, of Ridgeland; hisbrothers, Floyd Beasley, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and BuddyKirkland, of Liberty; his sisters, Juanita Patt, of Baton Rouge,La., and Peggy Verneuil, of Liberty.

Frank Thomas Coleman

Services for Frank Thomas Coleman, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Monday, Feb. 5, at Riverwood Funeral Service with burial inRiverwood Memorial Park. The Rev. William Hughes willofficiate.

Mr. Coleman, 58, died Feb. 1, 2007, at G. V. (Sonny) MontgomeryVA Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Brookhaven on April22, 1948, to Frank Coleman and Mazie Bledsoe Coleman.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.

His father preceded him in death.

Survivors are his mother, Mazie Coleman, of Los Angeles, Calif.;his devoted wife of 32 years, Javelle Crawford-Coleman, ofBrookhaven; his son, Wayne Johnson and wife Linda, of CrystalSprings; his loving daughters, D’Juana Perkins, of Brookhaven, andStasha Williams, of San Marcos, Calif.; his brother, Billy RayColeman and wife Carol, of Vista, Calif.; his sister, LindaHarrison and husband William, of Clovis, Calif.; his grandchildren,Jessie Perkins, Darius Perkins, Ashanti Ollison, Tenaya Williams,Bryce Ollison and Tré Ollison; his special friends, Tony Banks,Cornelius Banks, Henry Henderson, Paul Richardson and JamesSweeney; and a host of relatives and friends.

Anna Pauline Wallace Case

Services for Ann Pauline Wallace Case, of Monticello, are 2:30p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at Tilton United Methodist Church inMonticello with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. tothe time of the service.

Mrs. Case, 78, died Feb. 2, 2007, at Lawrence County NursingHome. She was born on Feb. 16, 1928, to Ernest Wallace and RubyReid Wallace.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Tilton United MethodistChurch, where she was a member of the Women’s Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husbands, J.W.Hamilton and Lloyd Case.

Survivors are her daughters, Maxine Godwin and husband, Dan, ofMonticello, and Paulette Roberts, of Vancleave; and her threegrandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. McCollum, 83, died Feb. 2, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn in Perrytown on Aug.13, 1923, to Harper Perry and EleeseAshley Perry.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Natchez.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husbands,Whitley Cavin and Floyd McCollum.

Survivors are her son, Herman Cavin and wife Gwen, of Wesson;her daughter, Betty C. Smith and husband Roger, of Natchez; hergrandchildren, Roger Allan Smith and wife Dawn, of Metairie, La.,Kevin Michael Smith and wife Sandy, of Natchez, and Lea Ann CavinKnight and husband Phillip, of Wesson; her great-grandchildrenWhitney Knight, Cullen Smith, Sarah Ashley Smith, Alex Raymond, andDanielle Raymond; her sisters, Ruby Mae Cavin, of Natchez, and EttaLee Trevillion, of Baton Rouge, La.; and her sister-in-law, AnnieRuth Perry, of Natchez.

Walter A. ‘Mac’ McDavid

Walter A. “Mac” McDavid, 89, beloved husband, father,grandfather, brother and uncle, peacefully went to be with theLord, Jesus Christ on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at CentralMississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation is 1 p.m. Sunday at Shady Grove Baptist Church inBogue Chitto, with funeral service at 2 p.m. at the church. Burialwill follow in the church cemetery. Wright and Ferguson FuneralHome in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McDavid was born on Sept. 8, 1917, to Ithamar and JesseMcDavid of Bogue Chitto. He served in World War II, fought in Italyand North Africa, and received the Purple Heart. He was a longtimeemployee of G&O Manufacturing Co. in Jackson.

He loved spending time with his family, gardening, and visitingthe old family farm in Bogue Chitto.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, ChristineBuie and Edna Richardson.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Doris McDavid; daughter,Bebe Thompson and husband Ty; granddaughters, Andrea and JennyThompson; sisters, Louise Rollins and Winnie McCraw; and a host ofnieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved Maltese,Hutch (also known as “Sonny Boy”).
