Graveside services for Catherine Irene Furr Peters, of Batavia,N.Y., are 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Easthaven Cemetery inBrookhaven. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 8:45 until 9:15 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Peters, 85, died Feb. 8, 2007, at Genesee County NursingHome in Batavia. She was born in Brookhaven on April 28, 1921, toJess Miller and Pearl Smith Miller.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in LeRoy, N.Y.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Robert Furr; her son, Robert and grandson, Thomas.

Survivors are her husband of 23 years, Walter Peters, of LeRoy;her son, Laney Furr, of LeRoy; her stepdaughters, Linda Patterson,of Norwich, N.Y., Bonnie Scheller, of Washington, Lou Burns, ofWatertown, N.Y., and Dawn Tropp, of Virginia; her fivegrandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; onegreat-great-grandchild; 12 stepgrandchildren; twogreat-stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in LeRoy, or theAlzheimer’s Association.
