Services for Adlee Walk, of Natchez, are 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16,at Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Natchez with burial in PineHill Cemetery in Natchez. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 11 until the time of the service atthe church.

Ms. Walk, 62, died Feb. 10, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital.She was born in Orlando, Fla., on Oct. 11, 1944, to Johnnie Sheltonand Thelma Fuller Hawkins.

She was involved with St. Mary’s Care Center and the SalvationArmy of Madison, Wisc., and Stew Pot and Housing in Natchez.

Preceding her in death were her father, Johnnie Shelton; herstepfather, Eligha Simmions; her daughter, Debra Shelton Echols;her son, Anthony Shelton and one great-grandson, Laron Echols.

Survivors are her mother, Thelma Fuller Hawkins; her son,Demertius Walk; her daughters, Carline Walk Harper and ThelmaBrewer Lindsey; her brother, Eligha Simmions; her 13 grandchildrenand 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives andfriends.
