Samuel Lee Anderson

Graveside services for Samuel Lee Anderson, of Natchez, are 10a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at Pinehill Memorial Cemetery. MarshallFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Infant Anderson, died Feb. 22, 2007, at Natchez CommunityHospital. He was born in Natchez on Feb. 22, 2007, to DeWayneAnderson and Tomekia Goings.

Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents, Samuel andAlice Goings.

Survivors are his parents; his grandparents, Annette Andersonand Michael Anderson, and Kenneth and Nettie Perry; hisgreat-grandparents, Albert and Lula Thompson, and the Rev. and Mrs.Matthew Anderson; one sister, Khari Anderson; one brother,Jadarrius McNeil; and numerous aunts, uncles, and familymembers.

Alice Smith Bowlin

Graveside services for Alice Smith Bowlin, of Fluker, La., are 2p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at Greensburg Cemetery in Greensburg, La.McKneely Funeral Home in Amite, La. is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Bowlin, 94, died Feb. 23, 2007, at St. Helena ParishNursing Home in Greensburg. She was a native of FranklinCounty.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Wiley Bowlin; herparents, Hardy and Willie Ann Smith; two brothers, Charlie Smithand Buddy Smith; and two sisters, Nellie Smith and SallyWalker.

Survivors are her daughter, Betty C. Howell, of Greensburg; hersister, Mavis Furr, of Natchez; and numerous nieces andnephews.

James Milton Brown

Services for James Milton Brown, of Natchez, are 2 p.m. Sunday,Feb. 25, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Jefferson County withburial in the church cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from noon until time of service at thechurch.

Mr. Brown, 45, died Feb. 20, 2007, at The Village HealthcareCenter in Houston, Texas. He was born in Church Hill on Dec. 11,1961, to George and Cora Brown.

Preceding him in death were his birth mother, Cora Brown; twosisters; and two brothers.

Survivors are his father, George Brown, of Natchez; his mother,Mary Brown, of Natchez; his siblings, Georgia “Voris” Anderson andClarence Turner, both of Houston, Texas; Andrew “Danese” Turner, ofAtlanta, Ga.; Kelvin “Doris” Brown of Savannah, Ga.; Adrian Brown,of Natchez; a sister-in-law, Sarah Mason; and numerous othernieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Lowery Lee “Larry” Mercier

Services for Lowery Lee “Larry” Mercier, of Niceville, Fla., are2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Sam Brister Family Cemetery.

Mr. Mercier, 63, died Feb. 22, 2007, at Destin Healthcare Centerin Destin, Fla. He was born in Lincoln County on May 27, 1943, toHerbert Mercier and Alma Jane Fuller Mercier.

He was disabled.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, H.E.Mercier, Fred Mercier, and Paul Mercier; one sister, Dorothy Davis;and a brother-in-law, Russell Davis.

Survivors are his brother, James Mercier and wife, Gloria, ofBogue Chitto; his nephew, Gene Duncan and wife, Donna, of BogueChitto; his niece, Patricia Porter and husband, Ben, of Destin; twosisters-in-law, Toni Mercier and Sarah Mercier, of Bogue Chitto;and numerous other relatives.
