Howard Hall

Services for Howard Hall, of Monticello, are 2 p.m. Saturday,March 3, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag with burial in thechurch cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Hall, 59, died Feb. 28, 2007, at his residence. He was bornon Sept. 18, 1947, to Van Hall and Juanita Hall Wilson.

He was a retired contractor. He was a member of the Church ofGod in Silver Creek.

Preceding him in death were his father; his father-in-law,Richard L. Bud White; and his brother, Shelton Hall.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Martha White Hall, ofMonticello; his sons, Johnny Hall and wife Tina, of El Paso, Texas,and Justin Hall and wife Tonya Sanders Hall, of Wesson; hisdaughters, Tammy Johns and husband Adam, of Bogue Chitto, SherryHall and husband Rob, of Mobile, Ala., and Debi Hall and husbandBrad, of Monticello; his brother, Sherman Hall and wife Lupe, ofHappy, Texas; his sister, Janice Miller and husband Charles, ofPhoenix, Ariz.; and his grandchildren, Patrick, Alie and MistyJohns, Haley Hall, Heather Keller, Breanna Sanders, Anthony Halland Karrigan Smith.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to MonticelloPentecostal Church in Monticello.

Jimmy Ray Shanahan Sr.

Services for Jimmy Ray Shanahan Sr., of Hazlehurst, are 2 p.m.Saturday, March 3, at Westside Baptist Church in Hazlehurst withburial in Gallman cemetery. Community Funeral Services is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Shanahan, 63, died Feb. 28, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn Feb. 18, 1944, to Johnnie Shanahan and Margaret Joyner.

He was employed as a mechanic and sales clerk.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers,David Shanahan, Carl Shanahan and Johnny Shanahan.

Survivors are his wife, Mary J. Shanahan; his sons, JefferyMicheal Shanahan, Jeremy Shanahan and Jimmy Ray Shanahan Jr.; hisdaughter, Sommer Shanahan Erwin; his brother, William Stanley; hissisters, Sarah Upchurch, Bobbie Damins and Mary Parker; and 10grandchildren.
