Services for Annette Johnson, of Amite, La., formerly ofBrookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Macedonia M.B. Churchin Brookhaven, with burial in Carver Heights Cemetery inBrookhaven. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Miss Johnson, 49, died March 2, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Jan. 21, 1958, to Brady Johnson and MaryAlice Johnson.

She was a nurse’s aide with TangiPines Nursing Home.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, EnfleaseRufus, Alberta Ferdinand and Almeda Johnson; and her nephew, Sgt.Romeo A. Barnes.

Survivors are her son, Alfred Johnson and wife Kizzy, ofIndependence, La.; her brothers, Brady Allen and wife Maxine, ofBrookhaven, John Johnson and wife Dorothy, of McComb, and Thomas K.Johnson, of Houston, Texas; her sister, Lou E. Bowman and husbandJames, of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Amari, Kiara, and Cameron,of Independence; her uncle, James E. Edwards, of Baltimore, Md.;her devoted friend, George Downy, of Amite, and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
