Services for Mattie Reid Wilson, of Monticello, are 11 a.m.Friday, March 30, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Carmel Cemetery in Monticello. Wilson Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilson, 90, died March 28, 2007, at Lawrence County NursingHome. She was born on Aug. 31, 1916, to Julius Reid and Ada WilsonReid.

She was a homemaker and prior to her retirement was a part-timeflorist. She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church, where sheserved in many capacities during her tenure of membership.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WoodrowWilson; her two brothers, and her sister.

Survivors are her son, Jimmy and wife Sarah Wilson, of Madison; herdaughter, Betty Lou Wilson, of Monticello; her grandchildren, ScottWilson and Suzanne Watson, of Madison; and her threegreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital inMemphis.
