Services for Floyde Mae Bennett, of Jayess, are 2:30 p.m.Sunday, April 8, at New Bethel Jesus Name Church in Jayess withburial in the Bennett Family Cemetery. Hartman-Hughes Funeral Homein Tylertown is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bennett, 74, died April 6, 2007, at McComb Nursing andRehabilitation Center. She was born in Progress on Dec. 11, 1932,to Floyde and Gertrude Wallace Cade.
She was a housewife. She was a member of the New Bethel JesusName Church.
Survivors are her sons, Roland Bennett, of Morgan City, La.,Nolan Bennett, of Monroe, La., Mickey Darrell Bennett, of Jayess,and John Bennett, of Columbia; her daughters, Sylvia Lang, of LinnCreek, Mo., Eleanor Forehand, of Brookhaven, Vickie Lubbock, ofBaton Rouge, La., and Rhonda Ashley, of Wesson; her brothers, J.W.Cade, of Walker, La., Garland Cade, of Baton Rogue, and LarryWallace and Jerry Wallace, both of Jayess; her sister, DollyMcKenzie, of Tylertown; 12 grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
