Services for Ruth Pauline Redd King, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Sunday, April 8, at Mt. Zion Church of Christ in Brookhaven withburial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. King, 84, died April 5, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born on July 7, 1922, to William Marshall Redd andAnnie Elizabeth Price Redd.

She was a homemaker and retired seamstress with Stahl-Urban. Shewas a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HoraceKing; her son, Rodney King; and her sister, Bobbie Johnson.

Survivors are her her sons, Roger King and wife Julia, andRichard King; her daughter-in-law, Sue King; her brothers, R.J.Redd, W.M. Redd Jr. and wife Karen; her sister, Opal Blaise andhusband Robert; her granddaughters, Jo Knippers and husband Gregg,Dee Neal and husband Marcus, Patricia Jordan and husband Matt, andNeosha McGuffee and husband Greg; her grandson, Scott King; hergreat-grandchildren, Stormi Knippers, India Knippers, Jacy Jordan,Madison Neal, Marcus Neal II, Mika Neal, Annie McGuffee, GraceMcGuffee, Adam McGuffee and Kristen McGuffee; and hergreat-great-grandchildren, Taylor and Braden Livings.
