Services for Thompson Alexander “Tommy” Paulk, of Summit, are 11a.m. Saturday, April 21, at First Baptist Church in Summit, withRev. Larry LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in WoodlawnCemetery. Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Saturday at First Baptist Church in Summit from 10 a.m.until the time of the service.

Mr. Paulk, 72, died April 18, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn on April 19, 1934, in Pike County to Charles A. Paulk Sr. andAnnetta Little Paulk.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Summit. He was aretired Fourth District supervisor for Pike County with 20 years ofservice and was a United States Army veteran. He formerly owned andoperated Jafco Liquid Feed Company and was a former employee ofShell Oil Company. He was an avid deer hunter and golfer and servedas president of the Buck Snort Club in Port Gibson. He was pastpresident of the Pike County Board of Supervisors and was a formermember of the Pike County Economic Development Board.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Jo Jones Paulk, of Summit; his sons anddaughters-in-law, John and Darla Paulk and Gus and Angie Paulk, allof Summit; his daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Pat Dominick, ofDaphne, Ala.; his brothers, Charles Paulk, of Summit and WilliamPaulk, of McComb; his sisters, Frances Reid, of Hattiesburg, andMary Lu Redd, of Brookhaven; his nine grandchildren, JenniferLangham, Patrick Dominick, Matthew Dominick, John David Paulk,Jamie-Lyn Paulk, Alex Paulk, Maggie Paulk, Reece Paulk and BradenPaulk; his five great-grandchildren, Blake Dominick, KaitlynnDominick, Sawyer Dominick, Julia Langham and Kelsey Dominick; andnumerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Matthew Dominick, Patrick Dominick, John DavidPaulk, Clyde Paulk, Jimmy Paulk and Chuck Paulk.

Honorary pallbearers are Lee Quin Jarvis, Keith Wallace, DerrellStewart, Mike Smith, Jake Ard, Freddie Wall and Barney Forman.
