Lily George Martinson died on April 27, 2007, at her home in SanDiego, Calif., after a long illness, with her sons at herbedside.

Mrs. Martinson was born in Brookhaven and was a graduate ofBrookhaven High School. After her marriage, she made her home inSan Diego.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; her mother andfather, Amien and Litifie George; her brother, Amien Thomas George;and a sister, Adeline George Attaya.

She is survived by her sons, Glen Martinson, of San Diego,Fathers Jerry and Barry Martinson, both Jesuit missionary priestsin Taiwan; her daughter-in-law, Nina Marie; one granddaughter, onegrandson and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by hersisters, Julia George Ilsley, Frieda George Hutson, CatherineGeorge, all of Brookhaven; and her brother, William George, ofBrookhaven.

After her funeral Mass at St. Vincent Church, she will be laidto rest in San Diego beside her husband, Glen.
