Services for Felicia Antoinette “Nana” Gipson are 1 p.m.Tuesday, May 8, at Mt. Wade Missionary Baptist Church in Brookhavenwith burial in Carver Heights Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour on Monday at the church from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ms. Gipson, 34, died May 1, 2007, at her residence. She was bornin Jackson on Aug. 26, 1972, to Mack Gipson and Glenda GipsonWalker.

She was a 1990 graduate of Brookhaven High School, and agraduate of Asher School of Business, with a degree in businessadministration. She was employed with the Brookhaven Public Schoolsas a computer analyst, and with Haven Hall as a dietitian. She wasa member of Mt. Wade M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her stepfather, Levernon Walker, andgrandparents E.G. and Connie Gipson, and James and MarieWilson.

Survivors are her father, Mackie E. Gipson, of Brookhaven; hermother, Glenda Gipson Walker, of Marrero, La.; her sons Darrius andFabian Gipson, both of Brookhaven; her sisters Jackie Gipson Lloyd,of Stone Mountain, Ga., Stefanie Catchings and husband Derrick, ofMarrero, Charlakeisha Crosby and husband Gregg, of Champaign, Ill.,Tabitha Gipson and Latoya Gipson, both of Brookhaven; her brothersDavid R. Gipson and wife Catina, of Houston, Texas, Robert PaulButler and Cherniko Smith, both of Brookhaven; and many aunts,uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
