Services for Elsie Louise Thompson Hux, of Brookhaven, are 3p.m. Friday, May 18, at Community Funeral Services with burial inNew Sight Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Thursday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Hux, 65, died May 16, 2007, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter. She was born on Sept. 17, 1941, to Walter Eugene Thompsonand Minnie Irene Thompson, of Brookhaven.

She was employed with Pansy’s Nursery. She was a member of NewSight Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Dan Kelly HuxSr.; her brother, Walter Glen Thompson; her sisters, Sarah GeneBrown and Linda Fay Smith.

Survivors are her sons, Kenneth Crosby, of Brookhaven, Dan KellyHux Jr. and daughter-in-law Nell Hux, of Summit, and Jay Dean Hux,of Brookhaven; her sisters, Joyce Honea, of Madison, CherylRabalais, of Brookhaven; and her grandchildren, Kelly Hux andMakita Bueto, of Summit, and Jay Dean Hux Jr., of Brookhaven.
