Services for Jerry J. Smith, of Monticello, are 2:30 p.m.,Saturday, May 26, at Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Oma, withburial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Oma. R.E. Tyler Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 59, died May 20, 2007, at the Lawrence CountyHospital in Monticello. She was born on July 21, 1947, to the lateGeorge Ross and Gladys Cowart Jones, of Hammond, La.

She was disabled. She was a member of Greater Mt. Olive M.B.Church in Oma.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Lee Estees Smith; ason, Richard Smith; and one grandchild.

Survivors are her sons, Reginald Smith, of Silver Creek, SamSmith, of Monticello, Roger Smith, of Gulfport, Matthew Smith, ofMonticello, and Bibbley Smith, of Monticello. Survivors alsoinclude a host of brothers and sisters.
