Services for Violet “Vickie” Wood, of Monticello, are 11 a.m.Thursday, May 24, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Mathers Chapel Cemetery in English, Ind.

Visitation is Thursday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Wood, 76, died May 22, 2007, at Forrest General Hospital inHattiesburg. She was born on July 28, 1930, to Jesse Buster andMary Ann Blair.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of GodProphecy.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her two brothers andtwo sisters.

Survivors are her husband, Logan “Woody” Wood; her son, LoganWood Jr., of Palmyar, Ind.; her daughter, Rhonda Roe, ofMonticello; her sisters, Virginia Marlott, of Kentucky, JessieSheldon, of Oregon, and Esther Hawkins, of Kentucky; sixgrandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
