Services for Calvin Leroy Wallace, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, May 30, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive withburial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation was held on Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at thefuneral home, and will be held on Wednesday, from 8 a.m. until thetime of the service.

Mr. Wallace, 82, died May 28, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on Aug. 17, 1924, to Elzy Wallace andBlanche McFadden Wallace.

He was retired and the former owner of B&O Supply Inc., andMill and Industrial Supplies. He was a United States Army veteranof World War II, and served in Europe, France, Germany and Belgium.He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven. He was amember of Sportsman Paradise, and enjoyed gardening, fishing andhunting, especially fox hunting.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers,Claiborne, Curtis, Cleon, Hulon L. Sr., and Edwin Wallace; hisson-in-law, James E. Willoughby Jr., and an infant sister.

Survivors are his son, Tim L. Wallace and wife Cynthia, ofColumbus; his daughters, Cindy W. Willoughby, of Lenoir City,Tenn., and Nancy W. Rancont and husband Dennis, of Birmingham,Ala.; his brother, Donald Wallace, of Bogue Chitto; his sister,Mavis Johnston, of McComb; his grandchildren, Brandon L. Wallace,April R. Wallace, Brad Willoughby and wife Stacey, and ShaunWilloughby; his great-grandson, Taylor Willoughby; and numerousnieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MississippiCollege Athletic Department in Clinton.
