Services for Edward “Ed” Harold King, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, June 9, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Friday from 3 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. King, 24, died June 6, 2007, in Lincoln County. He was bornon Dec. 28, 1982.

He was a 2001 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center. He wasa contract welder. He was a member of Brookway Baptist Church inBrookhaven. He loved life and his friends.

Preceding him in death were his brother, Kurt Edward King; hisgrandparents, Esco and Nelda Wallace; and his great-grandparents,Harvey and Gladys Stewart, Will Searcy, and John and BerthaKing.

Survivors are his parents, Harold E. King and Gay Wallace King,both of Brookhaven; his sister, Kristi Gay King Lay and husbandGlenn E. Lay Jr., of Brookhaven; his grandparents, George andShirley King, of Brookhaven; Aunt Louise King Alford and UncleRicky Alford, of Brookhaven; Aunt Joy Joplin, of Houston, Texas;his uncles, Esco Wallace and Mark Wallace, both of Houston, andWesley Wallace, of Brookhaven; his cousins, Charles and MandyAlford, Jonathon and Paige Alford, Stephanie Wallace and SamanthaWallace, all of Brookhaven; many friends and relatives; and his dogand constant companion, Druppie “Killer” King.
