Services for Mary Lee Harris, of Wesson, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, June12, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inLittle Bahala Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson.

Visitation is Monday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Harris, 58, died June 10, 2007, at her residence. She was bornon June 21, 1948, to Joe T. Harris and Vera Mae Hamilton.

She was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Little BahalaBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her brother, Joe Curtis Harris; her aunt, RubyHamilton Steen; her uncle, E. C. Hamilton; and her first cousins,Alvin Steen, Amelia Warrick, Thomas Harris and James Harris.

Jewell Buck Nunnery Jr.

Services for Jewell Buck Nunnery Jr., of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, June 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Nunnery, 78, died June 10, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Liberty on May 9, 1929, to Jewel BuckNunnery and Bonnell O’Neil Nunnery.

He was retired from Entergy with 42 years of service. Afterretirement, he worked with Reed-Simpson Construction. He was aUnited States Army Veteran of the Korean War, and was a merchantmarine. He attended Whitworth College and was a member of theBaptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, JamesJuanita Burkett Nunnery; his second wife, Charlene Butler Nunnery;and his sister, Dimple Nunnery Tannehill.

Survivors are his son, Jeffery Blake Nunnery; his daughter, VickiLynn Halford; his brother, Bonnie Nunnery; his grandchildren,Lesley Claire Nunnery, Amy Dunaway, Chase Fugler, Logan MichelleNunnery and James Brantley Nunnery; and his great-grandchildren,Alexis Michelle Fugler, Blake Fugler, Eden Fugler and AustinFugler.

The Rev. Eddie Porter

Services for the Rev. Eddie Porter, of Sontag, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, June 13, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church inMonticello with burial in Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Sontag.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, withfamily hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

The Rev. Porter, 80, died June 7, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn on May 16, 1927, to Willie Porter and Lee Rinda Porter.

He was a retired minister who pastored Pin Oak Missionary BaptistChurch, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 550, Shady GroveMissionary Baptist Church and Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church.He was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ora Nell Porter;his daughter, Elnora Porter; his brothers, Howard, Calvin, ThomasCharles and LarFate; and his sister, Gussie Porter.

Survivors are his sons, Charles Porter and wife Pamela, ofSouthfield, Mich., Tyrone Porter and wife Josephine, of Sontag,Kenneth Porter and wife Beverly, of Raleigh, N.C., and Paul Porterand wife Wendy, of Olive Branch; his daughters, Vanessa Bowens andhusband Christopher, of Charlotte, N.C., and Thelma Richardson, ofSontag; his brothers, Lincton Porter, of Clinton, ArJulius Porter,of Jackson, Eugene Porter, of Brookhaven, and Lee Lewis, of FortWayne, Ind.; his sisters, Willie Lee Bryant and Nettie Evans, bothof Detroit, Mich., and Nancy Lewis, of Natchez; and his 16grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
