Services for Rosie Mae Johnson Martin, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Tuesday, July 3, at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church inWesson with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mrs. Martin, 72, died June 30, 2007, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Copiah County on Dec. 31, 1934, to HoustonJohnson and Annie Johnson.

She was retired. She was a member of New St. John M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her father and daughter Annie J.Cowart.

Survivors are her mother, Annie Johnson, of Hazlehurst; her sonCharlie Martin, of Wesson; her brother Willie Ward Frelix, ofHartford, Conn.; her sister Bessie Minor, of Hazlehurst; ninegrandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
