Services for Vicki Lynette Ward, of Silver Creek, are 2 p.m.Friday, July 6, at Crooked Creek Baptist Church in Crooked Creekwith burial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Silver Creek.Community Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 4 until 9 p.m. and Friday from 10until 2 p.m. at the church.

Miss Ward, 40, died July 2, 2007, at her residence. She was bornon July 19, 1966, to Jack Ward and Betty Evans Rodriguez.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandfather, OliverWard; her stepgrandfather, Hardy L. Russell; and her maternalgrandfather, Boyce Evans.

Survivors are her father and stepmother, Jack and Gejuena Ward,of Silver Creek; her mother and stepfather, Betty and JosephRodriguez, of Melville, La.; her paternal grandmother, Elmer C.Russell, of Pearl; her maternal grandmother, Edna Evans, ofBrookhaven; her paternal grandparents, Emmitt and Tootsie Bullock,of Silver Creek; her sisters, Heather Powell, of Monticello, andKortney Ward, of Silver Creek; her stepbrothers, Kurt Rodriguez, ofMelville, and Keith Rodriguez, of Jarreau, La.; her stepsisters,Cindy Harrington and Tammy Ryder, both of Melville, La.
