Thursday’s heavy rainfall wiped out the opening round of theDixie Youth Baseball AAA and Major League Subdistrict SixTournaments. All tournament games have been moved back one day,according to Lincoln County Youth Sports commissioner WeldonSmith.

In the Majors tournament at Duncan Park in Natchez, 3 games areset tonight, weather permitting. In the 6 p.m. action, LincolnCounty’s National League All-Stars play Wesson on Field One and theLincoln County American League All-Stars play Copiah County.

In the 8 p.m. game, Natchez plays Franklin County.

In the AAA tournament tonight at Brookhaven’s Keystone Park, theLincoln County Nationals play Copiah County at 6 on Field One andand Wesson meets Natchez on Field Two. In the 8 p.m. game, LincolnCounty’s Americans tackle Franklin County.
