Services for Blanchie Culver Selmon, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, July 31, at St. Mark M.B. Church with burial in the PineGrove Church Cemetery in Sontag. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Selmon, 70, died July 26, 2007, at Central MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. She was born on April 18, 1937, toHerman McGee and Velma McGee.

She was retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Co. and was aretired newspaper carrier for The DAILY LEADER. She was a member ofSt. Mark M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, ArzellMcGee; her sister, Lorena Green; and her daughter, VelmaSelmon.

Survivors are her sons, Slylvester Selmon, William Selmon, JamesJordan and Shiem Brumfield, all of Brookhaven; her daughters, EdnaWilcher, Carrie Sidney and Famika Culver, all of Brookhaven, andNakisha Culver, of Columbus, Ohio; her brothers, the Rev. CharlesMcGee, of Wesson, the Rev. Robert McGee, the Rev. W. H. McGee,Eugene McGee and Versie McGee, all of Sontag; her sisters, GenevaBates, of Sontag, and Anna Davis and Beola McGee, both of St.Petersburg, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
