Richard Wayne Jackson Jr.

Graveside services for Richard Wayne Jackson Jr., of Monticello,are 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Wanilla Baptist Church Cemetery inMonticello. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Jackson, 44, died Aug. 1, 2007, at Lawrence County Hospital.He was born on March 4, 1963, to Richard Wayne Jackson Sr. andDorothy Griffith Jackson.

He was a truck driver with Wal-Mart. He was a member of WanillaBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; his grandfather, EthelGriffith; and his sister, Darlene Jackson.

Survivors are his wife, Willie Jackson, of Wanilla; hisdaughters, Carly Danzel Jackson and Courtney Laise Jackson, both ofWanilla; his sister, Teresa Jackson, of Wanilla, and Terry Russell,of New Zion.

Services for Robert J. White Sr., of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Sunday, Aug. 5, at Alexander Junior High School Auditorium withburial in Carver Heights Cemetery in Brookhaven. R.E. Tyler FuneralHome is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome, with family present from 7 until 8 p.m.

Mr. White, 61, died July 31, 2007, at his residence. He was bornon Jan. 21, 1946, to Robert Paul White and Josephine PorterWhite.

He was retired from Delphi-Packard in Brookhaven. He was retiredfrom the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of SecondBaptist Church in Brookhaven, where he was an adult Sunday schoolteacher and a deacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his daughter,LaTasha White.

Survivors are his wife, Lucretia White, of Brookhaven; his sons,Larry, Robert Jr., and Keron Smith, all of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Monzola White Gayten, Robin White and Angela Walls, allof Brookhaven; his brothers, Johnny White and Sammie White, ofClarksfield, Tenn., Clyde White, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and BobbyWhite, of Flint, Mich.; his sisters, Annie Wilcher, of Brookhaven,and Sharon White Buchanan, of Kalamazoo; and his sevengrandchildren.
