Services for Hoyte Lambert, of Jayess, are 2 p.m. Monday, Aug.6, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive with burial inAntioch Baptist Cemetery in Monticello.

Visitation is Monday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Lambert, 68, died Aug. 4, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lawrence County on March 13, 1939, to RoeDenver Lambert and Juanita Rayborn Lambert.

He was a pipe fitter and welder with Georgia Pacific. He was amember of Antioch Baptist Church and a member of the MonticelloMasonic Lodge.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Beatrice Smith Lambert, of Jayess; hisson, Hoyte Bradley Lambert, of Meridian; his daughter, SharonFoster Lambert, of Monticello; his sister, Joan Lambert Martin, ofHammond; his grandchildren, Brandy Lambert Brooks and MaylahaLambert; and his great-grandchildren, Will Brooks, Kathryn Brooks,Kyle Brooks and Jessica Brooks.
