Services for Mavis Anding Smith, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. Tuesday,Aug. 14, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, Jackson Street location, withburial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 88, died Aug. 11, 2007, at Brook Manor Nursing Home.She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 15, 1918, to Johnston Andingand Eunice Case Anding.

She was retired from Kellwood Co. She was a member of MacedoniaBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Edgar LeeSmith; two grandchildren, Kathy Lynn Smith and Leonard DonivanSmith; her sister, Yvonne Boyte; and her brother, CarlosAnding.

Survivors are her sons, Leonard Smith and wife Connie, ofWesson, Leland Smith and wife Dorothy, of Brookhaven, Darrell Smithand wife Geraldine, of Brookhaven; her brothers, Denver Anding andDallas Anding, both of Brookhaven; her sister, Eva Nations, ofBrookhaven; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 15 stepgreat-grandchildren.
