Andre’ Damascus Gibbs

Services for Andre’ Damascus Gibbs, of Atlanta, Ga., formerly ofFranklin County, are 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Mt. Olive M.B.Church in Meadville with burial in the Meadville Cemetery. MarshallFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.

Mr. Gibbs, 18, died Aug. 11, 2007, in Panama City, Fla. He wasborn in Atlanta on Jan. 17, 1989, to James Bruno Gibbs and GlendiaKing. His stepfather was James H. Cullen Sr.

Preceding him in death was his father; and a brother, EmanuelDavid King.

Survivors are his mother, Glendia King; his sisters, Mildred N.King, Jasmine Cullen and Victoria Collins; his brothers, CorneliusKing, Billy R. Hunt Jr., James D. King, Glennon A. King, Demetri D.Hunt, Alvin B. King, Nicholas D. Thompson, Thomas W. Thompson Jr.,Isiah W. King, James H. Cullen Jr., Joshua Cullen, Jeremiah L.Cullen and Carlton Gibbs; his maternal grandmother, Jannie LeeKing; and many other relatives and friends.

Marion Marie Mullins

Graveside services for Marion Marie Mullins, of Utica, are 1p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at Kees Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home isin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mullins, 57, died Aug. 18, 2007, at River Regions MedicalCenter in Vicksburg. She was born in Brookhaven on Oct. 7, 1949, toJames Ray Mullins and Thelma Steward Mullins.

Survivors are her daughters, Kim Marie Bousquet, of Slidell,La., and Kelly Raye Keller, of Utica; her sisters, Sharon AnnCampise, of Tickfaw, La., and June Lynn Otillio, of Goodbee, La.;her brothers, Jimmy Ray Mullins and Billy Gene Mullins, both ofUtica; and two grandchildren.

William ‘Bill’ Carrol Murray

Services for William “Bill” Carrol Murray, of Prague, Okla., are2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at Calvary Way Church in Prague with burialin Maple Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Starland Davis, Bro. CharlesMcGregor, Sis. Shirley Beverly and Rev. Sean Pease will officiate.Parks Brother Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Murray, 65, died Aug. 16, 2007, in Prague. He was born inPascagoula on April 16, 1942, to William Carrol and Pearl EllenBurns Murray.

He was a graduate of Enterprise High School and attendedMississippi College, Copiah-Lincoln Community College, and receiveda bachelor’s degree from the University of SouthernMississippi.

He married Norma Lee Atyia on Aug. 1, 1975, in Gainesville,Texas. He worked for Big Yank Corp. for 28 years, achieving theposition of plant manager. For the past three years, he wasemployed by the Seminole Nation, and at the time of his passing, hewas the executive director of the Seminole Nation DevelopmentAuthority. He was a member of Calvary Way Church of Prague.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one sister, WillineGatlin.

Survivors are his wife, Norma Murray; his daughters andsons-in-law, Carol Murray Bullock, of Brookhaven; Susan and RonPinkerton, of Ft. Worth, Texas; Teresa and George Reich, of Edmond,Okla.; Melissa and Johnny Weddle, of Rockwall, Texas; and Betty andRoger Cunningham, of Seminole, Okla.; and his grandchildren, Sloan,Jordan and McKenna Bullock, Shayna and Chrissy Pinkerton, Monicaand David Clifford, LeeAnna Reich, Sunny Weddle and Ryne andHarrison Hoey.

Memorials may be made to the building fund of Pleasant HillBaptist Church.
