Services for Osie M. Watson, of Sontag, are 1 p.m. Saturday,Sept. 8, at Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church in Sontag with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary andagain from noon until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Watson, 79, died Sept. 3, 2007, at her residence in Sontag.She was born on Sept. 18, 1927, to Willie Baggett and Arleavy TylerBaggett.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant M.B. Churchand a former member of Mt. Vernon M.B. Church in Chicago, Ill.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, J.B. Watson;her daughter, Jurdine Friends; a son, Selma Watson; her brothers,Zeno Martin, Ira Baggett, Tommy Baggett, Alphonse Baggett andThelma Baggett.

Survivors are her sons, Roy Watson, of Chicago; her daughters,Arleavy Watson, of Sontag; and Nellie Cooper, Josephine Gulley,Yvonne Veal, Christine Buford and Elaine Watson, all of Chicago;her brothers Charles Baggett and Herman Robinson, both of Chicago;her sister, Wynema Ray, of Brookhaven, and Ruth Christophe, of NewOrleans; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and fourgreat-great-grandchildren.
