Services for Frank Alonzo Good, of Brookhaven, are noon onSaturday, Sept. 8, at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon at Cannon Hall, theParish House of the Episcopal Church. Riverwood Family FuneralService is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Good, 88, died Sept. 5, 2007, at Saint Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital. He was born on May 24, 1919, in Punxsutawney,Pa., to the Rev. Edward Clair and Alma Martin Good.
He had been a resident of Brookhaven and a member of FaithPresbyterian Church. After graduation from Grove City College heentered the United States Army during World War II as a private,completing three years of service as a major in the South Pacific.He served as a commander of an anti-aircraft battery where he wasawarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service. Later he joinedthe Pennsylvania Refining Co. where he rose to a senior vicepresident, retiring later from the Penzoil in the samecapacity.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, BettySteele Good; his brother, Edward Claire Good Jr.; and his sister,Maribella Good Waters.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Walley Witt Good; hisdaughter, Rebecca Good Jeppe and her husband, Gerald Jeppe, ofMedina, Ohio; his son, William Edward Good and his wife, Ann Good,of Scottsdale, Ariz.; five grandchildren and fivegreat-grandchildren.
