Services for Tony Cortez Jackson, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, Sept. 11, at St. Paul M.B. Church with burial in St. JohnCemetery in Wesson. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour from 7 until 8 p.m.

Mr. Jackson, 44, died Sept. 5, 2007, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. He was born in Copiah County on Sept. 8, 1962, toAnderson Jackson Sr. and Janice Jackson-Walker.

He was employed with the Brookhaven School District. He was amember of St. Paul M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Luevayda Glover-Jackson;his stepfather, Sammie Walker Sr.; his maternal grandfather, JamesL. “JL” Watts; and his paternal grandfather, Paul Jackson.

Survivors are his parents; his son, Tony Cortez Jackson Jr., ofPensacola, Fla.; his daughters, Rebecca Darcell Glover, of Houston,Texas, and Tyisha Rena Jackson, of Brookhaven; his sisters, TonyaWalker and husband John, of Houston, Rachel Mae Jackson, andJulieann Jackson, both of Milwaukee, Wis.; and his brothers, SammieWalker Jr. and wife Veronica, of Hilton Head, S.C., AndersonJackson Jr. and wife Karen, of Houston, Vincent Walker and wifeMichelle, of Houston, Demetrius Walker and wife Roshanda, ofIndependence, La., and Randy Jackson, Anthony Jackson, and EddiePaul Jackson, all of Milwaukee; his maternal grandmother, MyrtleWatts, of Brookhaven; and his paternal grandmother, Lillie MaeJackson, of Brookhaven.
