Services for Christine Smith, of Brookhaven, are 7 p.m.,Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Heritage Family Church. A graveside servicewill be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Burrough’s Church Cemeteryin Columbia, La.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of service at thechurch.

Mrs. Smith, 90, died Sept. 30, 2007, at her residence, SilverCross Nursing Home. She was born in Crossett, Ark., on May 6, 1917,to William Clark and Flossie Bonnett Clark.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two spouses, CleveWhite and Jeddie Smith; one son; one daughter; two sisters and fourbrothers.

Survivors are her son, Forrest Glen Smith, of Brookhaven; herdaughter, Peggy Alexander, of Brookhaven; her sister, EllenMcCrary, of Alabama; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews andfriends.
