Walter D. Stultz

A memorial service was held on Sept. 10 in Livonia, Mich., forWalter D. Stultz, who moved his address on Sept. 7, 2007, fromNorthville, Mich., to his eternal home with our Lord.
Walter was born Sept. 30, 1915, in Altoona, Pa.
He and his wife, Ruth, of 69 years, (and his sweetheart for 74years) spent their winters in Brookhaven visiting with theirdaughter, Linda Tucker, son-in-law, Larry, and grandson,”Lucky.”
Walt loved God, family and horses, among his many interests. Herode horses all through Heuck’s Retreat for years, and made manyfriends along his rides.
During the three winter months spent each year in Brookhaven, heand Ruth joined their family in attending Sunday services and otheractivities at First United Methodist Church, and throughout thecommunity.
Walt had a life membership in all branches of the Masons.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Dale, and a daughter,Sandy Walker.
Survived by his wife, Ruth and daughter, Linda, he also leavesdaughter, Georgia Plagany, of Plymouth, Mich., and son, Dan Stultz,of Allen Park, Mich.
He will always be remembered for his loving, kind, thoughtful,jolly and fun ways, as he shared a winning smile with a twinkle inhis eyes. Walt was just plain fun to be around.
He will be sorely missed forever by five grandsons, twogranddaughters, and six great-grandchildren.
