5-0 Bogue Chitto visits Stringer; Enterprise, West Lincoln home

The unbeaten Bogue Chitto Bobcats put their 5-0 record on theline Friday night when they travel to Stringer to face the RedDevils in a big Region 4-1A matchup. The game kicks off at 7p.m.

In games involving Lincoln County teams, Enterprise hosts Region6-2A foe Madison St. Joseph for homecoming and West Lincolnentertains Dexter in a Region 4-1A test.

Loyd Star, which fell to Hinds AHS 26-19 in overtime lastFriday, has an open date this week.

Bogue Chitto remains undefeated at 5-0 in the region andon the season. The Bobcats are coached by Gareth Sartin. Last week,Bogue Chitto came back to put away Natchez Cathedral 55-34 whilethe Stringer Red Devils crushed the West Lincoln Bears41-12.

“Stringer’s offense is similar to ours,” stated Sartin.”They like to run it a lot; traps and counter plays. They playreally hard and get after it on both sides of the ball. They arenot really big but they do have a lot of speed.”
