Trustees tour Co-Lin’s renovated Smith Hall

Members of the Copiah Lincoln Community College Board ofTrustees got to take a look at the much-acclaimed new facilities atSmith Hall Thursday afternoon before their monthly meeting.

“We wanted you to see how $2.5 million was spent,” said Co-LinPresident Dr. Howell Garner of the new facilities, which includednew indoor hallways, science labs, and office and classroomspace.

The facility was open for tours all day Thursday, and thegeneral consensus was that the money was well-spent.

“Those of us who attended it were very impressed,” said BoardVice-Chairman Roy Winkworth.

Board member Melton King, of Natchez, agreed.
