Nannie Bell Ducker

Services for Nannie Bell Ducker, of Crystal Springs, will beheld at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Stringer Family FuneralServices Chapel in Hazlehurst with burial in HazlehurstCemetery.

Mrs. Ducker, 79, died Oct. 7, 2007, at her residence.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County. She wasa member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, James S. Ducker, herdaughter, Elizabeth Dianne Slay; and her son, Ronald SidneyDucker.

Survivors are her son, James Larry Ducker, of Bogue Chitto; herbrothers, Bobby Joe Teasley, of Crystal Springs, Gene Teasley, ofJackson, and Otis Teasley, of Hopewell; her sisters, Doris Jackson,of Wesson, and Shirley Mangold, of Hazlehurst; five grandchildrenand 10 great-grandchildren.

Willie ‘Mule’ Graham

A memorial service for Willie “Mule” Graham, of Ocala, Fla.,will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Free Gospel OutreachMinistry on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, with Pastor Lottie Parkerand Minister James E. Griffin officiating.

Mr. Graham died Sept. 13, 2007, in Ocala after a long illness.He was born in Monticello on March 11, 1942.

His family moved to Brookhaven in 1953 where he attendedAlexander High School and excelled in sports. He lived in Ocalalater in his life, and was a resident there at the time of hisdeath.

Survivors are his son, Richard “Bo” Dow; his sisters, LouellaMasterson, of Monticello, and Betty Graham, of Kansas City, Mo.;his brothers, John Graham, of Los Angeles, Calif., James EarlGriffin, of Atlanta, Ga., Marshell Graham, Willie “Bro” Graham andAndrew Graham, all of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.

Levaughn ‘Von’ Rials Smith

Services for Levaughn “Von” Rials Smith, of Kings Mountain,N.C., will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at ChristianFreedom Baptist Church in Kings Mountain with burial in MountainRest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. The Revs. Mike Chambers and SamSnyder will officiate. Harris Funeral Home in Kings Mountain is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 76, died Oct. 9, 2007, at Kings Mountain Hospital.She was born in Hazlehurst to Alvie Roland Rials and Nettie ReedRials Wallace Smith.

She was a former employee of Kings Mountain Hospital and McGillClinic. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in KingsMountain.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, GeorgeSmith; her brothers, Earl Rials, Talmadge Rials, Estus Rials andLinward Wallace; and her sister, Faye Juanita Rials Mackeeby.

Survivors are her son, Dennis Smith and wife Gale, of KingsMountain; her daughter, Linda Smith Ford and husband Ted, of KingsMountain; her brother, Billy Gene Wallace, of Brookhaven; hergrandchildren, Christopher Smith, Amy Ford Bailey and Aaron Ford;and her great-grandchildren, Carson Bailey, Casey Smith and ChaseSmith.
