Services for Susie Mae Fielder, of Brookhaven, will be held at3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Fielder, 84, died Oct. 9, 2007, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on Oct. 20,1923, to James Dowling Smith and Perry Hinson.

She was a retired seamstress and a member of New ProspectBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Curtis L.Fielder; her brother, Lloyd Smith; her sister, Thelma Myers; andher grandchild, LeShe Chestnut.

Survivors are her sons, Curtis Roger Fielder and wife Patty, ofBay St. Louis, and John Wayne Fielder and wife Sandy, ofBrookhaven; her daughters, Marguerite Elizabeth Chestnut andhusband Eddie R., of Quitman, and JoeAnn Pepper and husband Roger,of Brookhaven; her sisters, Edna Sanders, of Vicksburg, andKatherine Berry, of Clinton; her grandchildren, Joseph Chestnut,Lisa Andrews, Tina Robison, Shane Fielder, Gretchen Strong, DevonReeg, Johnny Fielder, Cam Fielder, Misty Fielder Smith, CortneyFielder Dearman, Jamie Pepper, Lisa Pepper Crosby and Rowan PepperNations; her great-grandchildren, Robert Allen Andrews, AleshaAndrews, Elden Robison, Conner Robison, Lucas Reeg, Anna BlaiseFielder, Abrey Strong, Trevor Strong, Tyler Strong, Brent Fielder,Austin Smith, Lindley Smith, John Collin Smith, Kylar Fielder,Brittney Anding, Jessica Day, Colton Welch, Georgianna Pepper,Sloan Nations, Wyatt Pepper, Gabriel Nations, Lucas Crosby,Julianna Crosby and Caleb Nations; and hergreat-great-grandchildren, Andrew Sykes, Kaylee Anding and MadisonAnding.
