Services for Charles W. “Moon” Froust Sr., of Meadville, will beheld at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Pentecostal LighthouseChurch in Meadville with burial in Wallace-Lee Cemetery in FranklinCounty. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 10 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Saturday at the church from 8:30 a.m. until the time of theservice.
Mr. Froust, 69, died Oct. 18, 2007, at his residence with hisfamily around him. He was born in Jonesville, La., on Aug. 21,1938, to Guy Brown Froust and Pearl Sports Cagle.
He was disabled and had worked in the oilfield. He was a memberof Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Guy Brown Froust andPearl Sports Cagle; his stepfather, Lacy Cagle; his sons, CharlesWesley “Moonie” Froust Jr. and Cory Mitchell Froust; and hisbrother, Floyd Cagle.
Survivors are his wife, Bessie Mae McFarland Froust, ofMeadville; his daughters, Bessie Faye Lovett, of Meadville, LaVoyceBoggs, of McComb, and Denise Smith, of McCall Creek; his brother,Allen Froust, of Louisiana; his sisters, Genevieve Froust Evans, ofLouisiana, and Jean Landry, of Colorado; his nine grandchildren andthree great-grandchildren.
