Services for Howard R. Hailey, of Hazlehurst, will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, at Stringer Family Funeral Chapel inHazlehurst with burial in New Providence Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Hailey, 88, died Oct. 24, 2007, at his residence.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County exceptfor the 25 years served in the United States Air Force. He was acattleman. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church, WessonAmerican Legion, and the John Galsbreath Masonic Lodge. He was anavid hunter.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Ruth King Hailey; his son,William H. Hailey; and his two sisters and one brother.

Survivors are his brother, Scott F. Hailey of Wesson; twonephews, three nieces and a special cousin and caregiver.
