Services for Helga Good, of Meadville, will be held at 11 a.m.on Thursday, Nov. 1, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Franklin Countywith burial in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home inMeadville is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Thursday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Mrs. Good, 72, died Oct. 30, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Adams County on Nov. 9, 1935, to WilliamOlsen and Velma Byrd Olsen.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Odis GoodSr. and an infant sister.

Survivors are her sons, Ricky Howell, of Decatur, Texas, LavellGood, of Bude, and Joe Good, of Decatur; her daughters, SandraJones, of Meadville, Jeanette Vasquez, of Bude and Judy Gilbert, ofMeadville; her stepdaughter, Debbie Smith, of Natchez; her specialcousin, Alma Lee Huber, of Summerville, Texas; her 15 grandchildrenand four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jason Jones, Casey Good, Will Good, Cody Jones,Jonathan Gilbert, Marshall Good, Brandon Good and AdielVasquez.

Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Howell, Dr. Ben Yarbrough andJames Newman.
