4 Co-Lin players All-Region

WESSON – Four members of the Copiah-Lincoln Community Collegefootball team have been selected to the National Junior CollegeAthletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region XXIII and MississippiAssociation of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-StateTeam. They are Tray Hardaway, Johnny Sanders, Anthony Barnes andEdward Prince.

Linebacker Tray Hardaway of Olive Branch was named First TeamAll-Region and All-State. Hardaway led the Wolfpack defense with 90tackles (46 solo and 44 assists) this season for the Wolfpack. The5-11, 220-pound sophomore also accounted for 7 tackles for loss, 16quarterback hits and 7 sacks on the season.

Defensive back Johnny Sanders of Hazlehurst was also named FirstTeam All-Region and All-State is tied for second on the team intackles with 75 (52 solo and 23 assists). The 6-3, 190-poundsophomore intercepted two passes and had 3 tackles for loss.

Offensive lineman Edward Prince of Starkville (6-3, 280) anddefensive lineman Anthony Barnes of Hazlehurst were named SecondTeam All-State.

Anthony Barnes, a 6-3, 230-pound sophomore defensive end fromHazlehurst, accounted for 54 tackles (33 solo and 21 assists). Healso had 6 tackles for loss, 6 hits on the quarterback and 3 sackson the season.

The Wolfpack finished the 2007 season with a 3-6 overall record andwas 2-4 in the South Division.
