Robert H. King

A memorial service for Robert H. King, of Brookhaven, will beheld at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at New Hope Methodist Church inBrookhaven. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. King, 60, died Nov. 6, 2007, at his residence. He was bornon Dec. 12, 1946, to Henry R. King and Inez McGee King.

He was an elementary school teacher for several years in NewOrleans, and retired as a disability claims processor with theMississippi Department of the Social Security AdministrationService. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his brother, Johnny W. King, of Wesson; and hissisters, Betty K. Steltz, of Hendersonville, N.C., Billie K. Hall,of Houston, Texas, and Pat K. Reinartz, of Topeka, Kan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hope UnitedMethodist Church Memorial Fund.

Janet R. Kirtfield

Services for Janet R. Kirtfield, of Ruth, will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in the Russell Family Cemetery in Ruth.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Kirtfield, 60, died Nov. 17, 2007, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born on Aug. 30, 1947, to J.B.Russell and Doris Prestridge Russell.

She was the general manager of the Topisaw Water Association.She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother, Doris Prestridge Russell, of Ruth; herhusband, Jerry Kirtfield, of Ruth; her son, Tony Kirtfield and wifeAlecia, of Ruth; her daughter, Tonya Watts and husband Ashley, ofRuth; her sisters, Dorothy Allen and husband Bob, of Ruth, and SaraNelson, of Baton Rouge, La.; and her grandchildren, Taylor Rushing,Hannah Kirtfield, Hunter Rushing, Devon Kirtfield and DeneaWatts.
