Graveside services for Wylie Hilliard Jr., of New Orleans, La.,will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Mt. Zion ChurchCemetery in Sontag. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Hilliard, 81, died Sept. 24, 2005, in Baton Rouge, La. Hewas a casualty of Hurricane Katrina. He was born on April 26, 1926,to Wylie Hilliard Sr. and Gladys Alexander Hilliard.

He was a retired security officer with Circle Foods in NewOrleans.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, GladysHilliard Touisaint; his sister, Aline Ross; and his brothers, HenryHilliard, George Hilliard and Robert Hilliard.

Survivors are his daughter, Maxine Hilliard Weaver, of NewOrleans; his sisters, Dorothy Martin, of New Orleans, and MableHog, of Indianola; his two grandchildren; and many nieces, nephewsand other relatives.
