Services for James Earl Wilson, of Monticello, will be held at11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel inMonticello with burial in Bethshan Cemetery in Monticello.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Wilson, 70, died Dec. 19, 2007, at Lawrence County Hospital.He was born on June 5, 1937, to J.W. Wilson and Ethel MaxwellWilson.
He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of MonticelloMethodist Protestant Church. He was a member of the National Guard.He was a Mason and a member of the Monticello Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors are his mother; his wife, Mary Woods Wilson, ofMonticello; his sons, Donald Ray Wilson, of Monticello, and JamesWilliam Wilson, of Fort Bragg, N.J.; his daughter, Debra LynnLambert, of Monticello; his brothers, Bobby Leroy Wilson, ofMadisonville, Ky., and Terry Mack Wilson, of Monticello; hissister, Ouida Dodds, of Denham Springs, La.; and his sixgrandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
