Services for Donald Ray Arnold, of McCall Creek, will be held at11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Churchin McCall Creek with burial in the church cemetery. RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Elders LukeAddison, Robert Byrd and Jerry Britt will officiate.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Mr. Arnold, 71, died Dec. 25, 2007, at the Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born on Jan. 9, 1936, to HardyArnold and Annie Wooten Arnold.

He was retired. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Hewas a loving and devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. Hewas a faithful member of Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church andwas strong in the faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his three brothersand five sisters.

Survivors are his wife, Anita Jordan Arnold; his son anddaughter-in-law, Steven Ray and Dawana Arnold, of Summit; hisdaughters and son-in-law, Donna and Mike Cloud, of Brandon, andLeAnn Bass, of McCall Creek; his grandchildren, Shelby, Hanna andHaley Arnold, all of Summit, and Brett and Jordan Cloud, ofBrandon, and their baby, Lane Cloud, due in March 2008; hisstepgrandson, Mitch Cloud, of Brookhaven; his sisters, BarbaraKing, of Gonzales, La., Margaret Brown, of Booneville, N.C., andLouise Sweeney, of Brookhaven.

Pallbearers are Mike Arnold, Jerry Arnold, Lanny Arnold, CurtSpring, Charles Spring and Johnny Parsons.

Honorary pallbearers are James Parsons, Roger Lewis, D.C.Griffin and Tom Pickett.
