Services for Alice T. Flowers, of Brookhaven, will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Willie Mae Tyler Memorial Chapelin Brookhaven with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. R.E.Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Flowers, 95, died Dec. 27, 2007, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 21, 1912, to StemThompson and Alice Kennedy Thompson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Second Baptist Churchin Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CharlieFlowers; her sons, Charlie Flowers Jr. and Harold A. Flowers; herdaughter, Virginia Flowers Jackson; her brothers, Frank and JamesThompson; and her sisters, Maude Newton, Bessie Bullock, OlaThompson and Sina Thompson.

Survivors are her sons, Larry Flowers and Willie B. Flowers,both of Brookhaven, and Frank Flowers, of Vallejo, Calif.; herdaughters, Jacqueline Waller, of Roxie, Annette Waller, ofBrookhaven, and Claudette Johnson, of Greenville; her 11grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
