Services for J. C. “Jack” Ainsworth Jr., of Bogue Chitto, were10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services Chapelwith burial in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville at 2 p.m.

Mr. Ainsworth, 58, died Jan. 3, 2008, at his residence. He wasborn on Sept. 17, 1949, to J.C. Ainsworth Sr. and Daisy JohnsonAinsworth.

He was an attorney. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed huntingand golf.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his brother, JamesOtis Ainsworth.

Survivors are his daughter, Parker Ann Ainsworth, of BogueChitto; his brother, Michael T. Ainsworth, of Taylorsville; hissisters, Dr. Patricia Ainsworth and husband, Dr. Richard Waddle,and Martha Brooks Ainsworth and husband, Gary Spergeon, all ofBrandon; his nieces, Jill Neth and Alice McLendon; his nephew, OwenWeddle; and Tracy Ainsworth, mother of Parker Ann Ainsworth.

Pallbearers were Victor Hackney, Fred Shows, Brady Kellums, JoeFernald, Dave Pace and Owen Weddle. Honorary pallbearer was SamWaggoner.
