Services for Georgia May Bullock, of Bogue Chitto, will be heldat 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Mars Hill Missionary BaptistChurch in Ruth with burial in the church cemetery. WilliamsMortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Bullock, 78, died Jan. 4, 2008, at her daughter’s residencein McComb. She was born in Lincoln County on July 5, 1929, toGeorge May and Rosie May.

She was retired. She was a member of Mars Hill M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, GeorgeBullock Sr.; her sons, Eugene Bullock and George Bullock Jr.; hergranddaughter, Rose Marie Bullock; her sisters, Lucy Wallace andMary Lee Seals; and her brothers, Willie May, Lee May, Riley May,Roosevelt May, Eugene May, Robert May, Jefferson Davis May, SimmieMay and A.D. May.

Survivors are her sons, Robert Bullock and wife Rose, of BogueChitto, Earnest Bullock and wife Brenda, of McComb, Dennis Bullockand wife Diane, of Summit, David Newson, of Bogue Chitto, andHersey Newson, of Faribault, Minn.; her daughters, Frances Wheelerand husband Tyree, of Jayess, Katie Turner and husband Johnny,Evonne Bullock and JoAnn Russell, all of McComb, and RosettaBullock, of Summit; her brother, Hezekiah May, of Milwaukee, Wis.;her 38 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, and sixgreat-great-grandchildren.
