Services for Lillie Pouns Dickerson, of McComb and formerly ofBogue Chitto, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, at JonesFamily Funeral Services in McComb with burial in HollywoodCemetery. The Revs. Bob Lynch and Mike Alexander willofficiate.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Mrs. Dickerson, 69, died Jan. 8, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 11, 1938, in McCall Creek to John Wesley and MaryPrudence Chisholm Hart.

She was a homemaker and a member of Arlington BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Houston I. Pouns; and her second husband, Horace Dickerson.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Donald andJanice Pouns, of Crystal Springs; her daughters and sons-in-law,Mary and Bruce Forshee, of Bogue Chitto, and Annette and DavidStanford, of McComb; her brothers, Odom Wesley “Sugar Boy” Hart, ofSmithdale, and Jesse Marion Hart, of Columbia; her sisters, Ida RayStout, of Smithdale, and Mildred Inez Summerall, of Liberty; hergrandchildren, Victoria Forshee, of Bogue Chitto, and Patrick RayMorris and wife Robin, of Magnolia; her special friends, Dr.Burnett Hanson and Dr. Anthony Adeosun; numerous nieces andnephews; her resident family and staff at Timber Ridge Apartmentsand the staff at Community Hospices of America.
