Services for Sadie Ashley, of Liberty, are 11 a.m. Wednesday,Jan. 23, at Beulah Chapel M.B. Church in Brookhaven. Burial will beSaturday, Jan. 26, at Madison Cemetery in Montgomery, Ala.

Visitation is Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service atthe church.

Mrs. Ashley, 75, died Jan. 18, 2008, at Field Memorial Hospitalin Centreville. She was born in Alabama on June 13, 1932, to FrankHardy and Effie Wilson Hardy.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Frank Ashley; herbrothers, Warren Hardy, Albert Hardy, Hartford Hardy, David Hardy,Robert Hardy, Willie Hardy, Houston Hardy, and Wilton Hardy; hersister, Callie Hardy; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Hardy, of Birmingham, Ala.;her daughters, Linda Seals, of Brookhaven, and Debbie Thomas andMyrtle Ashley, both of Montgomery; her brother, Roosevelt Hardy, ofWetumpka, Ala.; her sisters, Rosie Nell Preyer, of Sacramento,Calif., and Mary Alice Hardy and Ethel Reynolds, both ofMontgomery; and a host of grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren.
