Services for Nancy Morgan Dunaway, of Jayess, will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel in McCombwith burial in Providence Cemetery in Lawrence County. The Rev.Mike Alexander will officiate.

Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mrs. Dunaway, 70, died Jan. 22, 2008, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 4,1937, to Carl Morgan and Sarah Delaughter Morgan.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She and Mr.Dunaway were baptized together a few years ago by the Rev. GlenWood Alexander. “Me Maw” was excited about the upcoming arrival ofher fifth granddaughter to be born in South Carolina in June.

Her father preceded her in death.

Survivors are her mother, Sarah Morgan; her husband of 41 years,Dan W. Dunaway; her daughters, Lynn Dunaway McCullough and husbandFlint, of Maypearl, Texas, Tena Dunaway Aull and husband Jason, ofFortmill, S.C., and Dana Dunaway Howell and husband Eric, ofJayess; her brother, Dick Morgan and wife Marita, of Ridgeland; hersister, Cathy Griffin and husband James, of Brookhaven; and hergrandchildren, Erin McCullough, Lauren McCullough, Ashlyn Howelland Kaleigh Aull.

Pallbearers are Gary DeDon, Wendell Alexander, Denman Griffin,Jason Houston, Lane Davis and Tommy Davis.

Honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Dunaway’s sons-in-law and hernephews, Craig Morgan, Kyle Davis, Tim Houston, Todd Young andMatthew Davis.
